  • I am quite capable of planning, managing and executing academic, research and consultancy activities in engineering geology and related disciplines.
  • I have an ability to work collaboratively with inter disciplinary experts and capacity to develop research/ consultancy programs and / or to lead/ work and motivate research teams towards timely achievements of targets.
  • I have worked for more than 100 consultancy and research projects in the area of hydro power, Geo-environment and foundation studies (Annexure I). I have been engaged, individually or as a team member in site selection, investigations and design at pre-feasibility and detailed design phases. I have also been engaged as an expert for engineering geological and geotechnical review of DPR for hydro power projects.
  • I have prepared, individually or as a team member over 100 Technical Reports, for projects in India and Ethiopia (Annexure I).
  • Have advised 92 Masters and 3 PhD Thesis research works from Engineering Geology, Urban Geology, Geo Hazards, Environmental and Remote Sensing & GIS Streams. (Annexure III).
  • Have worked with;  Alternate hydro Energy Centre (AHEC now Department of Hydro and Renewable Energy), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee. About 7 Years (1996 – 2003) in various Research Positions. As Consultant (Since 2012)
  • I have worked under UNDP funded graduate expansion program, Ministry of Education at School of Earth Sciences, Addis Ababa University, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Associate Professor (2015 – 2021) Assistant Professor (2003 – 2015)..
